Let’s be honest… I have a love-hate relationship with the Fantasy genre. The Lord of the Rings trilogy is an unquestionable piece of cinematic gold and The Legend of Zelda laid the groundwork for the entire RPG gaming genre. But, when people talk to me about films such as Labyrinth and Legend or critically-acclaimed television shows like Game of Thrones, I typically respond with a sigh of indifference.

Who doesn’t know the theme song to DuckTales at this point in their life? It’s one of the most iconic Disney theme songs besides Chip N’ Dale’s Rescue Rangers. Come on, who doesn’t get this song stuck in their head at least once a week? Just me? Never mind then.

I discovered The Man in the High Castle by accident. I was randomly browsing through a Cracked article about little things that would have completely changed the course of history. The subject of FDR’s attempted assassination was one of them, and the Philip K. Dick novel was referenced as a “what if” scenario of what the world would be like if the assassination was successful.
