Mario’s Musings (Birthday/Halloween Edition): Aliens
“I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.”
That line is one of the many that earned the birthday girl, Sigourney Weaver, an Oscar Nomination for Best Actress in 1987 for her second outing as Ellen Ripley in Aliens. She celebrated her birthday yesterday, born in 1949. To honor her, I figured we could kick off the Halloween season with a sci-fi- horror film.
Mario’s Musings (Anniversary Edition): Seinfeld
Thirty years of nothing.
Seinfeld: the show about the life of a standup comedian and his three friends in New York City. Yada yada yada and that’s the article. Thanks for reading…
Mario's Musings: Stumptown

Mario's Musings: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

However, this is a Tarantino flick, so it could go either way; everyone goes home happy or there’s a bunch of dead bodies everywhere. And in a flick like this that supposedly focuses on the Manson Family Murders, it’s safe to assume it’s going to be a grim ending.
